Seasonal Living Ebook
Here’s your guide to seasonal living and connecting with the beautiful, wild world around you. Even if you don’t live in the Southeast, many of the activities, recipes, and how-to’s will still be totally applicable to you. If you like what you see here, consider joining us for our Earthskills and Permaculture Immersion, which meets for one long-weekend per month from April through November. Another option is our intensive permaculture design course that spans a full 12 days every autumn (you’ll receive a permaculture design certificate with this one too). Additionally, check out the rest of our classes to find what perks your interest.

How to Build a Shelf
You can build a shelf…it will feel so satisfying! This guide is for all skill levels and walks you through every step in the process, including how to choose lumber. You’ll notice that most of the people in the photos are women. That’s because we offer several sessions every year of basic carpentry classes for women only. But if you’re not a woman, don’t worry! We’ve got a fabulous building class that’s co-ed too; it focuses on tiny house construction (so students get to learn the whole process of building a house), and includes natural building techniques as well.
